Robots and Wearables with micro:bit. This program was offered at Texas State University’s Alkek One makerspace throughout April 2025. Participants built light-up Mother’s Day cards, interactive wearables, and responsive robot pets using micro:bit microcontrollers during Friday afternoon sessions. The May 6th special session focused on crafting personalized electronic greeting cards, with attendees choosing to either purchase micro:bits or use provided sample kits. No prior coding experience was required, with Texas State mentors guiding collaborative making sessions.
